arr ive been cooped up at home 4 too long. pls pls someone save me.
anyway i watched togo vs switzerland yesterday nite wif my dad. and halfway thru the 1st half he said something which really made me laugh. he asked me, "so wat color are the swiss wearing?" (they were wearing red). and i suddenly realised he was having trouble differentiating between the 2 teams because togo was wearing green and he was color-blind! haaah. and we had been watching for like 20 minutes liao.
makes me wonder wat its like to see the world from another person's eyes. if i were color-blind would red still be the same red? and green the same green? or would both colors appear the same to me? most of the time we see things from our own minute point of view, failing to see the bigger picture. if we could take a step out of our bodies and see ourselves from a third-person's point of view would we still have the same perception over some matters? would we still possess the same opinions that define us?
but then dats wat make everybody unique. we all have our own take of the different affairs in life. we can't always be "objective" all the time, much as we try. and often we try to push our ideas upon other pple. but we cant possibly change and mould others into our own thoughts. in the end we are all different. similar, but different.
