back 2 skool
a new semester begins! crap. haha. ah well its gonna be months of mugging again. this time i've only got 3 graded modules, but 2 of them are 8 credit ones, so i'll expect it to be as tiring as last year.
and the worst thing is that ive not gotten any of my books! shld really have approached the seniors earlier to buy their books, cos now i'm left with a choice of buying them 1st hand (which would burn a HUGE hole in my pocket) or resorting to borrowing from the library the whole time. the thick books are just not worth photocopying, and the profs this year seem to be rather adverse to the idea of "intellectual theft". sheesh. perhaps then they should ask the book writers to price their books better. some of the darn books cost like $100 each! they just dun spare a thought for us poor law students..
and my timetable for the sem looks like i'm having afternoon sch. my earliest day starts at 10:30 in the morning, and i end sch at around 5pm to 7pm every day. crap. i dun like afternoon lessons. i get sleepy. (i shld stop whining)
on a brighter note, jasmine got A2 and distinction for her chinese! yay! *applause* pray that she goes on and secure straight As for her 'o's. ;) jiayou!
