internships over, a new semester beckons
after a whirlwind summer of internships, the start of a new academic year is here. gosh time really flies.
i'm really happy to have done internships at all the firms that i'm considering to join, and now i've a better understanding of what i want. perhaps it's still a bit early to make a final decision, but at least things are clearer now.
on the advice of most of my mentors i've chosen modules that i'd like to do as opposed to those that i need to. international environmental law, aviation law, and law, governance & development in asia. no commercial law modules. i'll probably take a few of them next year, but for now i'll try to enjoy my time in law school. that's the advice i've gotten from every lawyer i've met, since work life will just not be as fun and relaxing anymore.
law school is fun. but now that zr has flown off to flirt in aus, things will probably be much duller. friends are dwindling in law sch.. 1st its ldm and now its zr. sianz. in some ways i'm dreading the start of the new term without these friends.
