last day of my academic year
it'll be 9 months before grades will matter once again. hur hur.
looking back at the past sem, i think i've increased only a lil in legal knowledge, but i've learnt a lot in terms of politics in south-east asia, environmental issues and a very specialized aviation industry. it's been an interesting sem.
academic matters are now placed aside. time to settle ns stuff, prepare for hk, watch the movies/serials i've wanted to, catch up with friends, resume visitation of my beloved kids and spend more time with dearie. seems like too much to do in too little time.
went to watch quantum of solace today with jono and zewei and i must say i dun like this development of the james bond series. the show is about the bond girls, the cars and the gadgets, and i demand it stay that way. james bond does not need an intellectual plot. keep it simple, i say, just like when mr bond got to bed the calefare by a single pick-up line that went smth like "i can't find the stationery". brilliant.
