too many things on my mind
equity assignment is killing me. i dunno which qn to choose, dunno how to begin, dunno what to write. and its due in 2 weeks. and the exam is in a months' time. screwed.
easter came and went, and all i got are aches from rollerblading. i didnt know that you can actually forget how to rollerblade, but apparently it's possible. i'm a living testament to this proposition. not a day to rmb.
perhaps i ask too much. and maybe it'll all be better without my nagging presence.

lifedrops
wooh its been a year since i signed on for the lifedrops programme with nkf. and all this while i've completely forgotten about it! haha. really goes to show that making small contributions every month takes the pain out of giving.. xp
anyway i guess after the durai fiasco the image of nkf and charities in general have taken a beating. and those who truly suffered from this are the kidney patients and the needy. so even as the charities revamp their code of governance, it is really up to the well-off (yes, that's YOU) to do their bit for society to help the less-fortunate. i give $6 a month cos i'm a poor student. you probably can do better!

of rues and regrets
sometimes opportunities pass you by and you can only look on helplessly at what could have been. the feeling of regret is all the more apparent when it is right before your eyes.
sometimes it's the things u wished u've done
sometimes it's the things u wished u had not
sometimes it's a person u wished u had known earlier
sometimes it's a revelation that came too late
yet time, cruel creature that it is, does not wait for one to ponder on past mistakes and lost chances. in this season of resurrection, perhaps there's a new beginning for all of us.

internships settled!
haha finally got all the offers of interships that i want during the hols!
in the end i'm really thankful that i got rejected by ge money, cos now i've got 3 internships from firms which i would really like to work in. i din get accepted by norton rose, but i didn't have much hope for that anyway.. but praise the Lord i was able to get places in allen&gledhill, rajah&tann and wongpartnership! now my hols are properly filled, and i won't have to worry about sending out more resumes anymore :)
and yea liverpool is on fire at the moment! i hope they thrash reading nxt, cos the matches coming up later are tough ones..

darn bird
arh i went to mcd's to eat lunch today when some bird flew over and kopped my fries! i was sitting in the open-air area and went in to get a straw for my drink.. then when i got back to my table i saw this darned bird pecking on my fries.. sianz! after that i threw away the whole packet of fries cos i scared i get bird flu. hahaha.
lesson: nv leave ur fries unattended.

a good day
it has been a good day in football! liverpool won and now looks good to edge out everton for 4th, chelsea and man u were both knocked out of the fa cup by their underdog opponents, and blackburn & man city both dropped points, effectively ruling themselves out of the race for a spot in the champions league. all in all, a very good day in football =)
lets hope the reds winning run continue throughout this month. some very tough games coming up.. away at arsenal, hosting everton and away to man u =/
and yea pls dic take over the club and give us money to buy players.. haha

gosh midsem is over
sianz! means that exams are coming soon! argh.. must be more efficient with my studying from now on.
anyway f.i.r. came to church yesterday and faye's performance confirmed why i liked the band so much! its not so much that faye's super chio or anything, but she is really seh. while the band's music isn't mainstream pop, it is extremely radio-friendly and listenable. and unlike other female singers, faye doesn't resort to acting cute or showing skin to make her performance great. she's just.. ethereal.. xp
