condolences to Ms Lo Hwei Yen's family

it was less than a month ago that she and a partner from sh came down to give us a seminar on aviation financing. there i was sitting in the room thinking how pretty she was, and how great it would be to forge an exciting career in asset finance at an international firm.

my heartfelt commiserations.

zr

having just read abt how zr is finally getting somewhere with a korean chick, i've decided to dedicate this post to him. it really shows how impt a person he is, being able to command the same level of my attention as the us presidential elections (which i've also only dedicated a post to).

i've to say that i'm really glad that he is finally close to getting laid. the guy's been talking abt it so much ever since the start of law sch (which remarkably seems so long ago now), it seems like its the only goal in his life. i suspect there would be an immense void for him to fill after he does achieve his goal, but then he could probably aim to get laid again.

his time, of course, is running out. 2 weeks left to snare the chick. i'm assuming that exams aren't a priority, so at least his attentions wouldn't be dispersed.
all the best, my friend. if the chick looks anything like jeon ji hyun, i'll probably bitch-slap u when u get back.

environmental law in environmental-deadly style

the pile of readings for environmental law on my table probably means that there is one less tree in the world right now. maybe two. the entire slab could knock a sumo out cold.

i must have been crazy to have taken this module. yea its educational and all, but darn only the professors are in the business of education. we students, we just wanna get good grades, land a good job, earn some moolah to get by alright in life.

next time, proper surveying needs to be undertaken before embarking on module selection. in the meantime i've to make sure the tree didn't die in vain.

us election post

ok so the us presidential elections are finally here. obama seems to be the front runner so far, but u can't count mc out. anyway, i think it'll be fun to have palin as the vice-pres =)

so how do they stack up? republican: free trade; strong military presence. democrat: restore the us economy; save the environment. ok.. i'm simplifying things too much but these are the only things that matter to me sitting here a thousand miles away from washington.

i think obama will win. the bush administration has been a real screw-up. bush is even getting it as he steps down, being slated as "deeply uncurious intellectually". if i ever get such a testimonial, i kill myself. actually.. i'll kill that person who said it. its just a nice way of saying "ur a dumb ****". personally, i think that the frank version actually sounds better.

ok. enough of unrelated rubbish. time to get cracking. exams are 3 weeks away. 3 freakin weeks away.
