vulnerability

within 2 days i've heard news of 2 different ppl down with leukemia. i do not know them personally, but i guess we're apart by much less than 6 degrees of separation. both are young, both have a great future to look forward to. it's strange how life can remind u of how fragile it is.

but don't i know it already? the feeling of loss never goes away.. and i've always told myself to treasure those that are around me. show more concern. provide them with care. protect them.
but then i'm such an emotional knucklehead.

it takes courage to love. lots of strength and determination. and lots of wisdom. i've found myself wanting in all areas.

i've got to pull myself tgt, stop being stupid
