silver lining
home! home from being locked out cos the bolt on my house door wouldn't budge. no matter how i turned the key. there i was wondering whether locksmiths operate so late at night... thank God they do. they don't come cheap though. $160 for 15mins work to unlock the lock and change to a new one. man. perhaps i should've learnt how to open locks. there are multiple career paths with this skill as well. cannot be locksmith can be burglar. hahaha
i miss my old visitation kids. this bunch of new ones intimidated me when i first met them, but like mold they gradually grew on me :p mostly upper primary, so they're older. they're more articulate, more worldly. at age 10 they have handphones, and facebook and msn accounts. gosh. and they want to add me! fortunately the ambition of being a teacher died early. i like kids, but it's very different making a career out of it, having the responsibility to nurture and to teach.
law & acctng was the right choice. it's important, and it's starting to interest me as well. at the least i'm motivated enough to want to learn, if not to do the hw. choices choices... many decisions yet to be made. i want them to be right, but we always know whether they are right only on hindsight. i wished foresight were as good as hindsight; though in any case i don't have much of that as well.
