jonah, scrolls and basterds
pastor spoke abt jonah today, and it was really interesting, how God places things in our lives to guide us to our destinies. it was an apt msg for me. perhaps God is putting me through all this to mould me into a better person. at least i hope.
after service i went to see the dead sea scrolls exhibition at the arts house. it was a tad disappointing, i must say. was expecting more of the scrolls than just the 3 fragments on show. but at least the old bibles were interesting enough. and thanks to fiona for pei-ing me so i didn't get too bored. hahah.
and inglourious basterds is an enjoyable movie, for those who like the quentin tarantino genre. yes he has his own genre. i like the 'good guys' to be winning throughout the movie, even though they were basterds. hehe.
