talking abt a speck in others' eyes, while not noticing the plank in their own
the newspapers have been reporting on ris low for the past weeks now, and things have finally come to a head. she will not be representing sg. i could almost hear cheers and patting of backs from those who brought her down.
every year beauty queens get ridiculed by singaporeans. these singaporeans, whom i'm sure can't speak english well themselves. these singaporeans, whom i'm sure have no friends cos they are just ugly, critical and self-righteous. these singaporeans, who hide behind the anonymity of the internet while vilifying others who have courageously stepped into the public glare.
agreed, ris low should no longer represent sg cos competition rules state that contestants may not have a criminal record. but the manner in which she was ridiculed and vilified in public was just disgusting. all these ugly, cowardly critics who can't speak without stuttering should examine themselves before commenting on others.
i really despise these 'netizens' who post comments online knowing that they need not take responsibility for what they say. why are there so many such a-holes around?
