some things are worth fighting for

i'm not one who itches for a fight; in fact i'll usually back out of a confrontation rather easily. but i believe some things are worth fighting (or at least getting into an argument) for. like the watch my parents bought me. i'd let anyone comment on anything that i bought for myself, but definitely not what my parents bought for me as a keepsake. not even if it's meant as a joke. call me defensive, whatever.

and much has been said about my church in the press, but i believe in innocence until guilt is proven beyond reasonable doubt. until then i've full faith that the church is doing the right thing.
