all our burdens
isn't it unfortunate that in most conversations about careers it inevitably steers towards the topic of money? but why should it? why should we spend the better part of our lives in pursuit of money, instead of doing what we like to do?
yet it's inescapable. humans are, after all, material creatures. we are limited by money. parents to take care of, loans to repay, a future family to maintain, these and similar considerations shape the lives we lead and the careers we choose to embark on. it's never just about interest. it's never purely about dreams and ambitions. we work for money.
those underprivileged children. those poor elderly. it's mind-boggling how much can be done to help them by money alone.
钱不是万能的,没钱却万万不能。真可悲。
