never again
it was a cold night. and my heart was cold. i stood there in the plaza with a bunch of strangers i didn't know. we were going to have drinks together, all of us. instead we headed for supper at a cha chan teng. haha, a cha chan teng. i never found that cha chan teng again.
there we were in an unfamiliar new place. we became friends. yet, like that cha chan teng, we may never meet again.
i played the same songs over and over again those first few days. whenever i play those songs again i'm reminded of those times. i was young and free. i had all the time in the world, and the world was at my feet.
i could go back to that place. but there isn't time now. because now my time is no longer truly mine. and even if i could go back, things were never gng to be the same again.
